Job Description

Mandatory Skills • Experienced and proficient with troubleshooting techniques and problem solving in a 24x7x365 production environment
• Self-starter with expertise in optical networking
• Experience with Optical Network Architecture, Network Engineering, and Operations
• Knowledge of FTTx and copper networks. 
 Others Critical :Excellent communication skills and a strong history of impact through collaboration. 
• Experience diagnosing and resolving TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN issues
Secondary Skills : Working knowledge of optical transmission systems.  
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Exchange, O365
• Knowledge and experience with datacentre and cloud technologies.
• ITIL Processes.
Domain Critical: Network Engineering, FTTx and Optical Networking.
Others Critical: Help Desk and Customer Interaction.
Responsibility: Communicate with internal/ external customers to enhance the understanding of customer problems, and verifies that an appropriate resolution has been applied.
Provides engineering expertise to troubleshoot, modify and engineer software solutions and configurations to ensure the product/ solution performs within optimal design specifications.
Investigate, debugs and reproduces issues, provides workarounds/fixes to ensure continued operability of the software solution.
Demonstrate continuous improvements and increased efficiency to the software or business processes by utilizing Software Engineering tools, innovative techniques and the reuse of existing solutions.
Contribute to meeting the SLAs and KPIs as applicable for the account and unit - for example, responsiveness, resolution, software quality SLAs, etc.

Desired Candidate

Candidate should have capability to discussions on operational issues, and ensure timely resolution.
Should proactively identify potential crises and devise contingency plans.
Candidate should work and coordinate with different teams.
Must be responsible for Performance testing operating System Image.
Responsible for operational hygiene and health of the account.
Candidate must accurately testing, identifying, repairing, resolving, and documenting end user technical issues regarding basic network/desktop/laptop support, printers, LAN cable drops.
Must have ability to facilitate the complete solution for product repair, upgrades, installations and other services using site connections.
Candidate should have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with all levels within a company.
