Job Description

As Lead – Marketing & Communications you are responsible for helping the organisation to manage all form of internal and external communication in print, online and social media. This position brings deep branding and marketing communications subject-matter expertise and experience when providing counsel and support to leaders and business partners within AWPL. You will be reporting to the Sr. Marketing Manager in AWPL. Major responsibilities of this position includes – Create high quality communications for print, online and digital media • Develop and implement yearly integrated marketing communications plan • Ensure the AWPL brand reflects the vision and goals of AWPL leadership, and aids the function’s ability to communicate and engage its employees while influencing perceptions across AWPL’s stakeholders. • Lead the design, development and execution of critical and creative marketing communications campaigns • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the principles of brand building; generate a brand vision and promise, and help advise and counsel senior leaders on ways to develop and build the brand today and over time. • Have a good working knowledge of how to extract and leverage client and customer insights to inform everything from planning to improving operations and the overall brand experience. • Coordinate conference, in-house and company hosted external events, trade shows, and press interviews. • Communicate client satisfaction measures taken periodically. • Develop a compelling content strategy as part of the marketing communications plan and campaigns. Leverage direct experience recommending, developing and distributing new and innovative content. • Create and deliver press releases, media relations content, case studies, white papers, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, social media content, and speaking proposals. • Build relationships with key internal stake holders across global regions through solid strategic counsel, plan development and excellence in execution. • Prepare briefing materials to be shared with internal stakeholders and the vendors. • Provide content support to leadership in the form of speech scripts and email support. • Review and provide feedback on the communications team’s processes, approaches, key objectives, and methodologies, with an eye on marketing communications needs and skills. • Help build a high-performing communications team by modeling desired behaviors and serving as a mentor to junior members of the team.
