Job Description

·         Leads the effort and execute a yearly sales plan which would include both hunting and farming aspects in selling new generation products to telecom players in assigned territory.


·         Build and own relationships with the assigned operators and ensure a good brand experience.


·         Build and lead new business by creating and regularly updating individual brand sales strategies with the partners by utilizing the understanding of customer business issues, objectives and growth strategies.


·         Responsible for achieving sales target for the financial year in the tunes of more than 10 Cr.


·         Engaging and proposing the development of new marketing propositions


·         Devising go to market plan for our services, driving and coordinating the pace of execution


·         Achieving target levels of new business through effective management of a team of sales professionals, introducing partners, network distributors and prospects.


·         Implementation of Sales Strategy that addresses different geographical sales coverage


·         regularly report achievements versus budget forecasts to the Senior Management Team.


·         To manage the Market Excellence/Intelligence process; gathering market and customer information and providing feedback on future trends, to


support sales campaigns.


·         To work closely with the Operations Team to ensure successful smooth delivery of client services.


  • Generates and achieves monthly/quarterly forecasts and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis.

·         Expected to work closely with engineering team to define new solutions and opportunity areas to grow the brand business.

Desired Candidate

·         Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science/communication technology or related field.


·         Minimum 8yrs years of sales or sales management experience within telecom industry in VAS space.


·         In-depth understanding of Telco products/infrastructure/technology choices and prevalence


·         Demonstrated intense customer focus and leadership skills.


·         Demonstrated highest level of integrity, intellectual honesty, and strong work ethic.


·         Proven ability to successfully thrive in an ambiguous environment and changing market conditions.


·         Develops original ideas, approaches and solutions to typical, unusual or difficult situations or problems.


·         Consistent effort, intense commitment, and willingness to go above and beyond when needed.


·         Have a successful track record of delivering sales in line with budgets within a Senior Sales role


·         Have Sales track record which is achieved within the Telecom VAS sector


·         Have in depth understanding of sales systems to support successful sales delivery


·         Have strong organizational, time management, negotiation, communication skills


·         Have a minimum 8-9yrs years of relevant sales experience with very good relationship with Indian Telecom operators, OEMs, NEPs.


·         Should have built VPs/CXO level engagements in Telecom Operators.


·         Exposure to manage other territories is desirable


·         Should have owned and achieved sales target of  > 1 M$
