Job Description

Leads the effort and execute a yearly sales plan which would include both hunting and farming aspects in selling new generation products to telecom players in assigned territory. Build and own relationships with the assigned operators and ensure a good brand experience. Build and lead new business by creating and regularly updating individual brand sales strategies with the partners by utilizing the understanding of customer business issues, objectives and growth strategies. Responsible for achieving sales target for the financial year in the tunes of more than 10 Cr. Engaging and proposing the development of new marketing propositions . Devising go to market plan for our services, driving and coordinating the pace of execution . Achieving target levels of new business through effective management of a team of sales professionals, introducing partners, network distributors and prospects. Implementation of Sales Strategy that addresses different geographical sales coverage . Regularly report achievements versus budget forecasts to the Senior Management Team. To manage the Market Excellence/Intelligence process; gathering market and customer information and providing feedback on future trends, to support sales campaigns. To work closely with the Operations Team to ensure successful smooth delivery of client services. Generates and achieves monthly/quarterly forecasts and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis. Expected to work closely with engineering team to define new solutions and opportunity areas to grow the brand business. Desired Candidate Profile: Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science/communication technology or related field. Minimum 8yrs years of sales or sales management experience within telecom industry in VAS space. In-depth understanding of Telco products/infrastructure/technology choices and prevalence . Demonstrated intense customer focus and leadership skills. Demonstrated highest level of integrity, intellectual honesty, and strong work ethic. Proven ability to successfully thrive in an ambiguous environment and changing market conditions. Develops original ideas, approaches and solutions to typical, unusual or difficult situations or problems. Consistent effort, intense commitment, and willingness to go above and beyond when needed. Have a successful track record of delivering sales in line with budgets within a Senior Sales role. Have Sales track record which is achieved within the Telecom VAS sector. Have in depth understanding of sales systems to support successful sales delivery . Have strong organizational, time management, negotiation, communication skills . Have a minimum 8-9yrs years of relevant sales experience with very good relationship with Indian Telecom operators, OEMs, NEPs. Should have built VPs/CXO level engagements in Telecom Operators. Exposure to manage other territories is desirable .
