Job Description

Primary purpose of the role:  
 
Team Leader – System Administration. Should lead the technical team across India who provide technical support to all our employees.  
 
Key Accountabilities:
 
1) Lead the technical team spread across India in terms of scheduling, providing and technical assistance  2) Strong knowledge on handling PC hardware, software related as well as network (LAN/WAN) related issues  3) Assist team technically for any issues related to, Hardware, OS, Platforms, Tools, Peripherals etc. 4) Exposure to ISO 27001 controls and HIPAA  5) Should handle system outages, escalations and internal/external communications effectively   6) Should have an excellent communication skills 7) Should be good at vendor management  8) Should handle deployments, interaction with US counterpart and handle system events effectively 9) Ensure to monitor and sustain all set KPI parameters  10) Willing to work in shifts
 
 
Skill Required:  Minimum 8 years of experience in the System Administration filed & at least 2 years of hands on experience as a Team lead related to the duties and responsibilities specified.  Degree in IT/Computer science or engineering or its equivalent.  Should have good knowledge in system administration, desktop/laptop/application related issues.  Knowledge on Windows server, Networking, installation & configuration of different client OS, Outlook, Printers, LAN, Antivirus, Asset management tools etc.,  Knowledge with various Remote Access & LAN protocols.  Experience selecting, implementing, maintaining and evaluating computers in a networked configuration.  Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns, and work under pressure.  Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise.  Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing English.
 
Added advantages if candidate have ITIL V3 foundation, Microsoft Certifications, knowledge on Remedy, Jira, ISO 27001 controls, Awareness of HIPAA, LANDesk/Ivanti management console.
