Job Description

Responsible for creating and writing various types of user documentation, including how-to guides, references, manuals, cheat sheets, or instructions. Compose clear and coherent technical information, discuss commercial and industrial products and services, write instruction manuals for users, and possess complete understanding of a company's products and applications. Major Responsibilities
Technical Documentation & Software Product Training
o Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver standard artifacts or templates as needed.
o Engage in technical writing and produces technical documentation that helps people understand and use a product or service.
o Select photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts to illustrate material.
o Study drawings, specifications, mockups, and product samples to integrate and delineate technology, operating procedure, and production sequence and detail.
o Interview production and engineering personnel and read journals and other material to become familiar with product technologies and production methods.
o Overall understanding of the business, its strategy and objectives.
o Actively participate in the completion of business analysis guidelines and change management process and ensure continuous process improvement.
o Participate in PR/CR prioritization and BA meetings.
o Manage and oversee the high profile projects assigned.
Analysis and Solution definition
o Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
o Manage stakeholders’ expectations and requirements scope.
o Provide analytical support for critical corporate initiatives including application improvement projects.
o Conduct impact analysis of technology changes on business processes and existing technology.
o Demonstrate a high level of subject matter expertise in functional area to bridge business requirements and IT solutions.
o Collaborate with project managers, developers, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance.
Project Execution
o Liaise with lead developers to come up with sound timelines for all projects and change requests.
o Assist in the development of project definitions, cost/benefit and risk analysis, work plans, progress reports, and presentations.
o Advise BA on any issues/roadblocks.
o Develop functional test plans and scenarios and coordinate functional, QA and user acceptance testing.
o Training of End Users and creation of help and end user documentation;
o Monitoring, documentation of all changes, updating of business requirements and functional requirements specification;
o Facilitate collaborative system and data design sessions with the user community, technical architecture resources and development resources. Minimum Requirements
o Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
o Strong problem resolution, judgment, and decision making skills.
o Demonstrated communications, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
o Fluency in written and spoken English; additional Asian business languages a plus.
o Ability to effectively achieve results in highly ambiguous and changing environments.
o Ability to work well in cross-functional team environments, build and maintain excellent relationships with cross-functional teams.
o A customer focused approach and passion for achieving world-class service
o Previous experience working with customer facing websites, preferably for an e-Commerce company.
Minimum qualifications:
o Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering/Science, English, Information Technology or its equivalent.
o Written Communication; Ability to Explain Concepts Clearly; Planning and Organization; Teamwork; Knowledge of Software and Computers; Attention to Detail; Multitasking; Ability to Work Under Pressure.
o Minimum 5 years’ experience as business analyst.
